The flight you choose sets the take-off site, and the site shapes the flight: the higher the launch, the longer the flight and the wider the view.

How to choose
- It is your first flight. The Discovery Flight is enough to understand what paragliding is: fifteen to twenty minutes in the air from Les Colimaçons, 800 m above Saint-Leu. It is the package most passengers take when they have never flown.
- You want time in the air. The Long Flight and the Extra Long Flight leave from the same site and stretch the flight out. From the Extra Long upwards, the pilot has room to work the thermals, and acrobatics are included.
- You are after altitude. The Panoramic Flight takes off at 1,600 m, above the primary forest, with a view that reaches from Étang-Salé to Saint-Paul. Early start, one rotation a day.
- You want to see the interior of the island. The Maïdo Flight leaves from 2,200 m, facing the Cirque de Mafate and Piton des Neiges. Transfer included, two people minimum, a whole morning.
Three things change from one package to the next: time in the air, take-off altitude and the landscape below. The rest does not move — same supervision, same equipment, same level of control.
What holds true for every flight
- From 20 to 120 kg, from age 4, with no upper age limit: being able to take a few steps at take-off is all it takes. The Panoramic Flight is the exception: above 90 kg it is not advised, without being forbidden, and the instructor judges each case at booking.
- No experience needed. The instructor, state-certified (Brevet d’État), keeps the controls from take-off to landing. You have nothing to fly.
- Postponement is free if conditions do not allow the flight. The instructor alone judges, and his decision comes before the diary.
- Closed shoes and comfortable clothes, with a light jacket for the altitude: it is cool in flight, and the wind picks up at take-off. Helmet, harness and seat are provided when we meet.
- Allow extra time on the road. At peak hours traffic is heavy around Saint-Leu, and we meet fifteen minutes before the agreed time.
