Vol Long — 25-30 min at 800 m

An extended flight from Les Colimaçons for a true aerial stroll. After an initial climb, we'll chase the white-tailed tropicbirds and other birds typical of Reunion Island. Riding the thermals, we'll fly over the ravines with their colourful Creole names and follow the west coast. Just before landing, a pass over the lagoon reveals turtles and coral reefs — and, with a little luck, a passing ray or dolphins at play. And if you feel like it, you can even take the controls for a few moments. The Vol Long holds twenty-five to thirty minutes in the air, close to double the Vol Découverte, from the same take-off at 800 metres. The Photos and HD Video option, at 20 euros, adds an on-board GoPro for the whole flight. Booking is best taken 24 to 48 hours ahead, and a delay costs nothing when the weather turns.
