Three progression levels, from your first hops on the training slope to preparing for the pilot licence.
The Air Lagon paragliding school has been training solo pilots in Reunion Island since 1984. Progression runs across three levels — introductory course, improvement 1, improvement 2 — up to preparation for the pilot licence. All training is led by state-certified instructors, on the flying sites of Saint-Leu and the west coast of the island.

Level 1
The introductory course takes you from the ground to your first full flight. It starts on the training slope, discovering the equipment and making your first hops, then moves on to supervised flights from the Saint-Leu sites.
Level 2
Improvement 1 opens up thermal flying. You learn to climb, to descend and to read the day's air, across a wider range of sites than during the introductory course.
Pilot licence
Improvement 2 leads to full autonomy: duration flying, spot landing and combined use of ridge and thermal lift. It prepares you directly for the pilot licence.
The school regularly organises outings to the island's various flying sites, or simply to get together as pilots. Good spirits and good company guaranteed.
John, Pascal and Jamel lead the training, all state-certified instructors. John Jourdain made the first paragliding flight in the history of Reunion Island in November 1984, then organised the island's first course. The school has trained hundreds of pilots since.
